From rainbow-coloured maxis to a vintage throw-back collection…Ms Dongre did it aaaaalllllllll!!!!
Waves of Joy was the name of the collection which featured summer strapless maxi dresses in candy pink, printed silk dresses, bright sarees with sequined cholis, full gathered skirts and jackets in lime, sea green and skirts with lacy blouses in peach and then switched to a very 1950s vibe with full circle skirts, cinched at the waist pencil dresses and black/white sarees.
It was truly a very wearable and abso lovely collection!!! And easily our fave collection to date at LFW!!!
The New Yorker was obvii invited to sit front-row at Bibhu Mohapatra’s show to which she wore a hot gold sequined mini by Namrata Joshipura and black booties.
Or as close to channeling the heavenly being in his collection this weekend at Lakme Fashion Week!!!!
The New York designer presented 36 pieces from his label which consisted of evening-wear in soft pastels, pleated skirts, cropped jackets, a few dhoti pants in stronger brighter hues and of course some very stunning gowns.
We really can’t choose one outfit that we heart the mostest from the whole collection…but do YOU have a favourite????
AJ was a Princess-showstopper for Bhairavi Jaikishan’s bridal collection at LFW as she walked in a silver lehenga-choli with rose detailings and no jewelry.
Calling all Brides! Bhairavi Kishan showcased a stunning collection of sarees and lehengas with beautiful embellishments and embroidery in ivory, peach, tangerine and turquoise! And the designer perfectly ended her collection by having our girlcrush Amy Jackson walk for her too!
Miss Mirza was definitely playing the role of an angel and princess!
Khushali Kumar presented her fairytale collection Angels and A Princess on the weekend which included a mix of cocktail-length dresses as well as evening gowns featuring metallic nets, beads and even shimmer to satisfy a magpie!
To close the show, Dia Mirza wore a specially-designed gun-metal gown with a silver beaded bodice and matching bejeweled tiara as she was accompanied by the designer herself.
Ooh! We love that little cut-out action going on in the back!!!
Our MonDog™ was spotted in a cute blue & white striped dress and lush curly locks at the beginning of the weekend sitting front-row at a lot of Lakme Fashion Week shows.
We’re fully surprised that a designer didn’t scoop her up as their showstopper this year!!!!
Where do we start on this WTFuggo dress that Princess Sonakshi chose to wear to Vikram Phadnis??? Wheeeeere??? humongous
Do we discuss the fact that the top half of the dress did nothing but make her upper body look huuuumongous? Or that the neckline was so ridicc unflattering? Or that the dress looked like it was swallowing up whole???
Why! Why! Whyyyyy did her stylist not realize that curvy ladies do not wear such bulbous fabric especially paired with such a neckline????
Neha Dhupia looked so bright, glowing and lovely as she made her front-row appearance with her Venezuelan snookums Jimmy at Vikram Phadnis’s show last week. They look adorabs together!!!
While we loved the orange-green H2T The Dhupes was werking, we feel her makeup could’ve been mucho better! She looked so pale and ghastly -- probably a consequence of matching her blush with her top and that unecessary red lip!
Such a rare misstep for the always-on-point starlet!!!!
